XtendFlex® Forage Soybeans Planting Considerations
To get the best results when planting forage soybeans for deer, start by creating a well-tilled seedbed. Make sure the soil is loose and free of clumps, allowing your plants to thrive. You have two great options for planting: you can broadcast the seeds across the surface or use a drill for precise placement. Remember the suggested seeding rate and cover the seeds lightly with soil, ideally at a depth of ½ to 1 inch.
Before planting the Eagle Seed forage soybeans, check that the soil temperature is just right. Conducting a soil test is a good idea, as it helps you gauge nutrient levels and see if you need any fertilizers.
Plant your forage soybeans in late spring to early summer for the most successful results. Adjust your planting time based on your local climate to make the most of those warm growing days.
